Good things appear on the horizon for the Catholic community in Qatar. The first Catholic Church in Qatar has opened. Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church has a 5000 member congregation. Over the weekend my brother told me the news that a high profile non practicing Muslim, who has been a critic of Islam, has converted to Catholicism. He was baptised into the Church over the Easter weekend by the Pope!
