Ron Howard won’t be filming Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons on Catholic property in Rome. The Vatican has banned Ron Howard to film on any Catholic property in Rome. The Vatican made a wise no- brainer decision by banning the filming on Church property.
Dan Brown’s books have a large anti Catholic bias in them. The Da Vinci Code was highly publicized both as a book and a film for what in essence is a perversion of the history of the Church. Mr. Brown has an affinity to the ancient heresy of the Gnostics and tries to bend the truth of what the Gnostic heresy was to fit his inane theories. Angels and Demons contains much the same as far as anti Catholicism. Mr. Brown tries to push off as fact, what is merely perverted speculation and fantasy.
I have seen the first movie and if the second is as bad as the first, it will not be in the theaters for long.
